As I sit here with the clouds of darkness closing in around me

I feel that I have literally lost my mind

The brain is a complicated organ with numerous wires and connections to enable it to function

Hopefully this is just a temporary power cut

Hopefully the wiring is in tact and the power switch will flick my brain back to life

Sometimes it is hard to think beyond the thought that the wires are cut and damaged beyond repair 

My only thought is that I have failed
