I’m Christopher Columbus, exploring my mind, because no one else has
I’m precise, when rambling on, towards the point
I’m simple, while being extremely complicated
I’m intelligent, but capable of absolute stupidity
I’m a stick of rock, with the message of fairness
I’m focus so deep, that sometimes I’m not physically there
I’m infinite beginnings, with much fewer endings
I’m a clear objective, with half a dozen tangents
I’m a shepherd, happy to flock with other lost sheep
I’m prone to over commitment, with no concept of time
I’m a struggler, unless the carrot or stick are clearly in sight
I’m an exhausted, masked, concealment of identity
I’m a translator of noise to truth, in the blink of an ear
I’m an enthusiastic communicator, sometimes misreading the rules
I’m a conversation hi-jacker, in an effort to understand, not to derail
I’m an intense self-deprecator, continually questioning myself
I’m numerous trial periods, of missed cancellations
I’m a colour coded list, with a mono chrome key
I’m a start all over again, because on line nine, I put a dash instead of a dot
I’m a slave to distraction, in preference to mundane tasks
I’m road rage without a car, but learning emotional control
I’m a vehicle of ideas full of motivation, but no fuel for the journey
I’m a hater of detours, even if the sign makes sense
I’m all or nothing, being massively productive or achieving sod all
I’m a chaotic mess, capable of occasional flashes of inspiration
I’m a fresh pair of eyes, sometimes with unorthodox solutions
I’m a very small window, between procrastination and overwhelm
I’m numerous jigsaw pieces, that fit, but there’s no picture on the box
I’m a shield of resilience, forged from decades of misunderstanding
I’m from a time when the label said difficult, disruptive, sit at the back of the class
I’m trying to soften sharp edges and practice restraint, but only when situations deserve
I’m still learning, but starting to understand, I am what I am
