Often broken within 24 hours

Thousands of I can’t remembers

Declaring, that must make them good

Blurry vague recollections

Or worse still, none at all

Apologies made, for not placing people

Literally hits home, with a slap from a non stranger

The truth never hurt, when I couldn’t hear

Not sure where, but there are bits of me out there

I can’t remember where or what

But they’re out there in the intoxicated air
