There isn’t much in life I fear
But certain words I’d hate to hear
Our memory is a treasure chest of all things dear
But when the brain fails, memories start to disappear
If your faculties start to go
And the ones you love, you start not to know
Becoming locked inside ourselves with nothing to show
Then time itself becomes our biggest foe
What will it be like when the brain starts really dying
Do we continue to live, or just stop trying
